Hardy Signs Celebrates TINtastic December

Hardy Signs have joined in with the Burton Mail to support ‘Feed our Families’ campaign. As the preferred sign maker in the area, Hardy Signs support a number of community initiatives such as this. The company operates from its state of the art production facility in Burton upon Trent with sales offices in London and Manchester.

Typically, Christmas celebrations revolve around entertaining and food. Unfortunately, there are families in our community that will struggle to put food on the table during this special time. Feed our Families is one such initiative to support those in need.

“We are a family friendly work place with three generations of the Hardy family working for the business. Christmas is a special time for the business and for the entire team. It is also a time to reflect that not everyone is fortunate enough to enjoy good food during this festive period. This initiative is our way of supporting those families and thinking of them” observed Nik Hardy, MD Hardy Signs.

No donation is too small and every tin or food item helps towards feeding those in need. All the items donated will be received by YMCA and South Derbyshire CVS. Both charities do a wonderful job ensuring that all donations go to the right people making a real difference in their lives.

YMCA is the largest and the oldest charity working with young people in the world. Across England, there are 114 YMCAs.

Hardy Signs will encourage all its staff and contacts to support and donate for the Feed our Families 2015 campaign.

“As a Burton business, we are committed to support local charities including local sporting teams and organisations. Burton is a great place to run a business and we want to contribute in every possible way to make this town a great place to live and work.”

“Our team comprises of a diverse age group and skillset. It is a very busy time for the company and we are working flat-out right up to Christmas eve, but it is also a time to think about the wider community and to play our part” Added Nik Hardy.

“Here at Hardy Signs we have never shied away from fundraising or contributing towards community projects. Nik, our MD personally leads the way for such causes especially if it’s to support families. We are fortunate to be able to contribute, so some of the less fortunate in our community can also share the warmth during this festive season.” commented Jude Lloyd Hardy Signs’ Office Manager.

All contributions will be sent to Burton Mail’s office by 18th December.
