Hardy Signs Tune In with Generation Z

Burton based Hardy Signs have tuned in to support and encourage a budding musical talent from the town by advertising her new single on its Digital Screens in the Octagon Shopping Centre. ‘Train’ the new single by Neve is currently being advertised in town and on social media.

Hardy Signs have always been pro-active in supporting, mentoring and motivating local talent with diverse interests and skills, be it by taking on apprentices or sponsoring local sports teams and clubs. Recently, the professional signage company have partnered with Burton and South Derbyshire College to launch the Sign & Print Academy to train the next generation of sign makers.

In tune with the culture, Hardy Signs is now supporting and encouraging a young up and coming musical talent from Burton.

Neve, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter is the youngest daughter of Hardy Sign’s Directors Nik and Lisa Hardy. ‘Train’ is her debut single and she wrote the song when she was just 15 years old. Neve lives in London and attends Arts Educational School in Chiswick and also an ex pupil of the renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School in the West End. The video for her debut single is produced by Downtown Artist, an artist development agency in Soho, London.

“Train is a song which takes me off to a new journey, I wrote this song when I was 15 and with all the support and encouragement I am really looking forward to my musical journey starting with my single Train” shares a very excited Neve during the launch of her single.

“This new tune has got us all humming in the office,” says Daisy Wright Hardy Signs’ Accounts apprentice.

“It is a remarkable achievement for a 17-year-old to take a plunge into the music industry. Sometimes as a society we give less credit to the youngsters, I think today’s youth are very driven and determined to follow their dreams and full credit to Neve what she has achieved thus far” commented Nik Hardy, Neve’s father and Managing Director of Hardy Signs.

Neve has recently performed at the Burton Mayor’s Charity Ball at the Pirelli Stadium and was very well received by circa 200 attendees.
